“Locca” marks Matías Javier’s consolidation within the Crazy Nutz Music catalog, delivering a club-focused Tech House EP built around hypnotic repetition, steady groove and dancefloor functionality. The release features two DJ tools designed for real club environments, where sustained energy and rhythmic continuity are essential. The title track, “Locca”, is driven by a solid and consistent rhythmic foundation, with a firm kick and tightly controlled percussion shaping a clean and functional framework. The bassline plays a leading role throughout the arrangement, deep and well-balanced, creating constant tension through a precise and organic sidechain that keeps the groove breathing naturally. Vocals are used minimally and rhythmically, with a filtered female loop acting as a hook element rather than a narrative focus, reinforcing the hypnotic character without breaking the flow. The structure is clearly designed for long blends and extended DJ use. On the flip side, “Express” follows the same club-oriented philosophy, delivering a direct and highly danceable Tech House cut. A repetitive and groovy bassline drives the track forward, providing continuous pressure on the dancefloor while maintaining clarity and control. Percussion elements add movement and texture in a balanced way, while heavily processed vocal layers sit subtly within the mix, enhancing atmosphere rather than dominating the arrangement. With this EP, Matías Javier reinforces his vision of Tech House as a functional, elegant and effective club language, aligned with an underground aesthetic aimed at DJs who prioritize groove, consistency and immediate dancefloor response.
