Bien Rica is the new EP from Spanish producer Matned, an emerging talent who has successfully captured the essence of Tech House and Minimal Deep Tech in every one of his productions. Born in Málaga, Spain, Matned began his music career at an early age, diving into the world of electronic music when he was just 10 years old. Throughout his career, he has signed with labels such as Latitud 62, Duff Music, Not So Serious, Hotoven, and Mystic, and gained support from influential figures like Chelina Manuhutu, Marco Carola, and Chris Damon. For Matned, the creation of Bien Rica started with tropical inspiration and a percussive touch characteristic of the summer. “I love percussive sounds with groove,” says the producer. In this EP, vibrant elements like Latin rhythms and fresh textures have been integrated, inviting listeners to dance and enjoy the music to its fullest. “It was a moment when I was inspired to create something that’s on trend but different for my style,” Matned adds. The production flowed quickly because he had a clear idea of the structure and foundation he wanted to achieve.
The track Bien Rica is the first of the two and is considered the main track of the EP. For Matned, “Bien Rica” is his favorite piece, the one that represents him the most, and the one that started the project. This track stands out with its unique groove and contagious energy, merging the essence of Tech House with tropical and Latin elements that make it stand out on the dancefloor. The dynamic percussion and fresh synthesizers create the perfect atmosphere to keep the energy constantly moving. “Bien Rica” is a track that showcases Matned’s innovative approach. In his production process, he sought to experiment with new sounds and textures to keep the sound fresh and different. “I made it with a lot of enthusiasm because I enjoy creating different sounds and experimenting,” the producer comments. The structure was clear from the start, allowing the creative process to flow smoothly. “It’s a huge honor to be part of Crazy Nutz, and seeing my work come to fruition is the fuel that any music enthusiast needs,” says Matned, reflecting the satisfaction of seeing his music reach new listeners. The second track, “Bellacas”, complements “Bien Rica” perfectly with a rhythm that maintains the same energy but with a slightly deeper approach. This track is designed to be just as danceable, with a solid foundation and an engaging groove. The percussion and synthesizers play a vital role, creating an atmosphere where the dancefloor becomes the main stage. With a strong rhythmic foundation and a Latin Tech touch, “Bellacas” maintains the freshness and fluidity of the first track while delving into a slightly darker, more introspective territory.
Both tracks are produced at 127 bpm, ensuring a steady and energetic flow that is perfect for the dancefloor. The percussive Tech House and Latin Tech elements become the ideal mix to capture the essence of the Crazy Nutz sound, a label known for its lively and enjoyable character. “I joined Crazy Nutz because of its very characteristic sound, which is energetic and enjoyable for listeners,” Matned explains, feeling deeply honored to be part of this family.
