Javier Gutierrez, known professionally as Jay House, is a prominent DJ and producer from Lima, Peru, influenced by 90s techno and house. He began his musical career at 13 as a percussionist and transitioned into DJing at 14, winning the Rock in Bembos contest. Since then, he has performed at top clubs in Lima and shared the stage with international artists such as Ammo Avenue, Tolinchilove, Jaime Soeiro, and Mendo.
In 2016, Jay House started his production career with the Swiss label Studio 405. His tech house style has gained recognition on notable labels like Distance Music, Distortion, Whoyostro, Happy Techno, and Aparenzza Music. He has received support from leading figures such as wAFF, Paco Osuna, and Reelow, and has achieved high rankings on Beatport charts alongside artists like Sidney Charles and Dimmish. In 2020, he founded Savitar Group, which includes Savitar Records and Savitar Clothing, and completed a tour in Ecuador, performing in Guayaquil, Quito, and Montañita. His career continues to grow with new signings to influential labels like Clarisse Records and Laguna Music, among others.
